Simple meditative stitches are paired with striking and dramatic stripes in this modern triangle wrap. Wear it with the point in front like a scarf to bundle up against harsh weather, or drape over the shoulders for a more formal look. Triangle wraps are one of my most favorite things to design. They make the such a wonderful canvas to play with textures and color, and they are incredibly versatile!
I usually wear mine with the point in front and the ends wrapped around to create somewhat of a shield on the chest, but they are also lovely draped over the shoulders. The Racer Wrap can be worn both ways, but I love the way the bold stripes drape when it’s worn in front!
Because of the versatility, this is one of my top things to grab on the way out the door when you need an added layer. It’s not as enormous as a blanket scarf, so it’s easy to tote along and is the perfect thing to warm the shoulders or neck in a pinch.
I wanted this design to be as simple as possible to showcase the color combo and have a graphic, modern appeal. It’s a great first crochet project for a beginner with stunning, functional results!
You really can’t go wrong with any color combo in Hue + Me, so this could easily be worked up in any of them and look spectacular. It’s the perfect canvas to playfully show off your favorite shades or match them to school colors or any other inspo you can think of. Can’t decide on a combo?
