Roundup: March's Color of the Month - Succulent

I could not be more excited for Lion Brand's March color of the month: Succulent. Having spent the last nine months in sunny southern California, succulents and dusty greens now hold a special place in my heart. I even scooped up some clippings to propagate back on the east coast (more on that to come!). While I loved the blushing beauty of February's Antique color of the month, I've always been drawn to the cooler side of the color spectrum, and the fact that I have three kits on sale as part of the Succulent promo just proves that it's one of my go-to choices. Read on to discover all of the gorgeous yarns and kits up to 30% off for the entire month of March!

It just so happens that three of my favorite designs from the last year are all in this serene color family, and it has me all excited to revisit these patterns. First up is hands down one of my most popular designs, the French Market Bag. While it's beautiful in any color of 24/7 Cotton, the Jade version is bright and friendly and would make the perfect transitional accessory to carry you into spring. Plus you literally cannot beat the price of $11.23 for this kit, available here.

I designed the Rebozo Wrap as part of Lion Brand's 12 Weeks of Christmas campaign. It's a meditative crochet project that becomes quickly addicting due to the simple color changes. I've seen it worked up in so many amazing color combos, but I still love the original in Heartland Mount Rainier, Great Smoky Mountains, and Crater Lake. You can score this kit for only $19.47 here.

Last but not least, my Harold Cardigan is the third design available on sale in kit form here for just $44.04 from $62.91. This grandpa style cardigan featured a shawl collar, pockets, and a crocheted toggle button to keep you bundled and cozy. Jeans is one of my favorite Lion Brand yarns and the Vintage color is one of the most beautiful greyish greens I've ever seen! Speaking of this yarn, have you guys seen the brand new Jeans Colors yarn!? Khaki and Corduroy are my favorite shades.

Besides my patterns, there are some incredible designs by some fellow bloggers also on sale during the promo. Here are some of my faves:

The Laikini Cardigan kit by Sewrella worked up in 24/7 Cotton Mint, available for $18.71 here or as a free pattern on her blog here.

The Campfire Cardigan kit by Make and Do Crew using New Basic Cafe au Lait, Juniper, Thyme, and Camel available as a free pattern here or for only $44.74 as a kit here.

And finally, the Smoky Mountains Triangle Wrap by Mama in a Stitch, in kit form with Heartland Great Smoky Mountains, Badlands, and Yellowstone on sale for $19.47 here or as a free pattern on Jessica's blog here.

If none of these designs float your boat or you have a different project in mind but want to jump on the Succulent color bandwagon, here are links to all the individual yarns on sale for the entire month of March as part of the campaign:
